Terms of Service

TimeSpace is a time-management application offering: time-account design and management, calendar scheduling and categorisation, time-usage analytics, todo management, and an AI Time Assistant. The Service helps users plan, track, and analyze how they spend their time using a structured, science-based approach.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• If your access has previously been suspended or terminated, you may not re-register or attempt to access the Service again.

• You may register an account via email or third-party login (e.g. Sign in with Apple).
• You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account.
• If you become aware of unauthorised use of your account, notify us immediately at holoken05@gmail.com.
• We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your password or account by a third party.

4.1 Time Accounts

You can create custom time-account categories (e.g. work, study, exercise) and allocate target time ratios to each. The Service provides visual analytics based on your actual schedule.

4.2 Calendar

The Service offers calendar functionality for creating, editing, and managing events, with optional categorisation by time account. With your permission, the Service can display events from your device's system calendar.

4.3 Time Analytics

Based on your tracked events, the Service provides weekly statistics to help you understand the gap between your actual time allocation and your goals. Analytical results are for reference only.

4.4 Todos

The Service offers a todo manager so you can capture and track pending tasks.

5.1 Plans

The Service offers free features and paid subscription plans. The scope, pricing, and conditions of paid plans are as displayed in the application.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. We do not collect or store your credit-card or payment information directly.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal fees are charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5.4 Cancellation

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the App Store account settings. After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period; thereafter, paid features become inaccessible while free features remain available.

5.5 Refunds

Refunds are governed by Apple App Store refund policy. Please request refunds through Apple's refund mechanism.

6.1 Ownership

You retain all intellectual-property rights in the content you create in the Service (including time accounts, calendar events, todos, and related settings).

6.2 Licence

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, process, sync, and display your content, solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service. This licence terminates when you delete the content or your account.

6.3 Representations

You represent and warrant that you own or have sufficient rights to submit your content; that your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual-property or other rights; and that your content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate material.

The Service and all of its components (including without limitation source code, UI design, graphics, icons, trademarks, and textual content) are the intellectual property of Ho Lo or are duly licensed to us.

Without our express written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Upload or transmit any material containing viruses, malicious code, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service's systems, servers, or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or damage the normal operation of the Service in any way.
• Use automated tools (e.g. crawlers or bots) to access or extract content from the Service.
• Transfer or sell your account access to others.
• Assist or encourage others in any of the above.

9.1 Description

The Service offers an AI Time Assistant powered by a third-party large language model (Google Gemini). You can chat with it for time-management advice or to schedule events.

9.2 Usage Notes

• AI assistant responses are for reference only; we do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or suitability.
• You are responsible for evaluating whether to follow the AI's suggestions and for decisions made based on them.
• Your conversations are sent to a third-party AI service for processing; do not enter sensitive personal data.

9.3 Disclaimer

The AI assistant feature is provided "as is." We are not liable for AI-generated content, including but not limited to losses caused by inaccurate or inappropriate suggestions.

The Service offers push notifications including event reminders, daily review reminders, and todo reminders. All notifications are scheduled locally on the device and do not pass through remote servers.

You can manage notification preferences in the in-app notification settings or in your device's system settings, including enabling or disabling each type and adjusting reminder times.

The Service may include links to third-party services or websites, or integrate with third-party services (e.g. system calendar). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party service.

Your interactions with third-party services are governed by those parties' own terms and policies. We recommend reviewing their terms before using any third-party service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or completely securely.
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.
• The Service will meet all of your needs or expectations.
• Any errors will be corrected promptly.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory.

In any case, our total cumulative liability for the Service will not exceed the total amount you have paid for the paid version of the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

14.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or terminate the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or termination of the Service.

14.2 Account Termination

If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account without notice. You may also delete your account at any time within the app or contact us to terminate your account.

14.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your authorisation to use the Service ends immediately.
• We will handle your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
• Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable (unless applicable law provides otherwise).
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, etc.) remain in effect.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised. For material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email beforehand. Continued use of the Service after the changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation.

• Entire agreement: these Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, superseding all prior oral or written understandings.
• Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver: our failure or delay in exercising any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: you may not assign any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms.
• Notices: notices delivered through in-app notification, email, or posting on the Service constitute valid delivery.
• Headings: headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

If you download the Service through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms are concluded between you and us only, not with Apple.
• Apple is not responsible for providing any maintenance or technical support for the Service.
• Apple makes no warranty regarding the content or functionality of the Service.
• If the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple to receive a refund (where applicable). To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the Service.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Service.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
